Diocesan Treasurer's Information:
| ||||||||||||
|
The Stewards of the West is an honorary society of contributors to The Diocese of the West of The Orthodox Church in America. The purpose of Stewards of the West (SOW) is to support the outreach activities of the Diocese. Those activities include mission work, charities, support of seminarians, and assistance to clergy families. Membership in SOW encourages meaningful and consistent charitable giving in support of those activities. Stewards of the West contributions are not used to cover operating expenses. Instead, these contributions are classified as "Outreach Income". You are encouraged to review the monthly financial reports of the Diocese. In these reports, you will see that Outreach Income rarely exceeds Outreach Expenses. The greater the support of the Stewards of the
West, the more the Diocese can extend its mission.
